    what to do........?

    Hey guys,

There's a noticeable gap of about .060 that's visible along the left side of my pump shoe, starting at about the mid-point of my rideplate. I noticed this problem with my last rideplate. Now I have a new plate, done by a different tuner, and the problem remains. To me, that says the problem lies in the hull, not the plate. So...What do you suggest I do? The transom plate looks aligned. Should I pull the shoe and re-glue?

Did you chase the bolt holes maybe some sealant stuck and interfering with seating of shoe , I know it`s a [email protected] but i`d rebed it with 5200 fer sure.

Looks like the shoe is not leveled maybe there is old sealer on there and the shoe did not sit flush or the shoe has been machined. You are going to have to remove it and clean everything up and fit it dry and see how it sits.

im having some trouble getting the shoe off. i heated it up several times and got it to budge a little, but not much. no hull leaks. the pump tunnel is reinforced and the brackets are the better 03 and up style.
