Smile Pictures of installed Leo's holeshot kit

I finally got around to installing Leo's kit on my GPR hull.
The kit got really crumbled up in the mail and I had to put it in piece by piece, seal it, and reassemble. I used 5200 to bond it to the hull after both it and the hull were roughed up. I then used marine tex (grey) to full anywhere that needed it and also as a skim coat over top. Finished off the process by sanding and then painting.

    What do you guys think?

BIG THANKS TO ANDY AND TO LEO!

That's one clean bottom, you barely squeezed any 5200 out, you must have used painters blue tape to catch any access. Mine got a little messy, But results are what it's all about, feel the difference on take off, plus you got jetworks also, packs a one two punch out of the hole.

i plan on doing leo's holeshot kit and his pump wedge this winter. Dave, when you installed your holeshot kit, did you have the ski upside down?

I am actually going to the dark side now (4-stroke). Making this into a GPRXP.

Figured that I should attempt to reduce drag as much as possible on it.

I have heard that people put the kit on upside down or normal. If you get good clamping pressure all around, I think that you would be ok either way.
