Fair pricing for 2005 RXT 215??

Found 2 2005 Sea Doo RXT 215's including double trailer for sale, approx. 70 hours on both....what would you think is a reasonable price?? From the sounds of an e-mail he sent me it sounds like they still have the original superchargers with the ceramic washers, and from what I have read on this site, they need to be re-built near 100 hours.

    All opinions appreciated.

Assuming that they have never trashed the washers, which is really hard to find out, and depending on condition, I'd say $8000-$9500

No more than 10,000 depending on condition of skis and trailer

www.nada.com will answer your question with no bias.

    link for 2005 RXT:
    http://www.nadaguides.com/default.as...S&gc=MR&gtc=MR

    4500 per pwc = 9000 + 750-1000 for trailer so $10,000 is fair - 14,000 is a pipe dream!

If the SC's have never been rebuilt with metal washers, they are ticking time bombs. It costs about $310 for the oem rebuild kits + $75 more for Jerry or any other expert to do the job for EACH ski. Waiting for 100 hours is a bad idea in my opinion!!

I looked at 2 2004 RXP's in Bay area for $10.5k including trailer w/storage box. 160 hrs on each. Ski's were in good shape, but too many hours on them w/his 3 kids riding for me to feel good about the deal.

Just curious as to why NADA and KBB are so different with there values? KBB has the 2005 RXT valued at $6535. I understand this is a dealer retail asking price.

Both of those books go by what dealers "say" they sell them for, and what they say they trade them for. and as the market is small (compared to cars), its hard to get a price based on those books, because the sample size is too small. When I traded my RXT in, my dealer looked at NADA and laughed, and gave me $1500 more on trade than it said. Different areas and small market can throw these prices all over the place. Also keep in mind that some dealers (like mine) give warranties on the used ski, which you won't get in a private sale, so they are going to charge more than a prive sale could.

Id say between 10-11k and your getting a good deal. Im sure if you look around here on the forums you can find some that have alot less hours on them and possible upgraded washers on the charger already.
