2005 RXT Rough Idle
Like the title states, it seems like our 2005 RXT (completely stock) idles slightly rougher than our 2004 RXP. I was reminded of this when I fired up the ski tonight in the garage after I put it together after Jerry rebuilt the SC. It's only noticeable on the trailer when it is out of the water. Idling it jumps 50 rpm. It will go from 1750 to 1800, 1800 to 1850, etc. and sounds slightly rough. Is this normal? What would cause this? My RXP seems to find 1800 fairly quickly and stay there and not sound rough. When I blip the RXT's throttle it seems fine.
It's always done this since we bought the ski when it had ~30 hours on it.

I have the same issue. Our 07 Rxp with 60 hours idles so much smoother than our 08 Rxt with only 20 hours and it has been like that since were first got the Rxt new. It doesn't seem to be misfiring or anything it just seems to vibrate more. The Rxp does have a 4inch intake and free flow exhaust and the Rxt is stock. Iv'e tried new spark plugs but that didn't seem to help any.

Switch to the denso iridium plugs. Made a huge diff.
