Best way to drain oil tank?
I was wondering what the best way to drain the old oil in the tank on gp1200r is? Without taking out the tank? Is there a cheap oil extracter pump I could buy somewhere?

I used a cheap hand pump, you can get one at walmart or harbor freight for pretty cheap. This is the one I got, $5 at harbor freight and works for what you need, http://www.harborfreight.com/multi-u...ump-66418.html, walmart has the same pump for a few more dollars. When I was swapping to premix I pumped out all that I could then unhooked the oil line running from the tank to the pump while holding a cup under the tank drain port to catch what was left.

i used a pair of vice grips on the supply line, then cut the line short and drained it into a 20 oz bottle, once full, re vice grip the line and repeat. Once you're done just zip tie the line against itself a few times; zero problems

line up atleast 6 water bottles and just pull the line from it where its butted together 4 inches or so from the tank. it reduces size and catch it all in the bottle
