Read ECU Bosch troubles codes with OBD reader

Does someone knows if is it possible to read codes without the digital wrench, with an OBD reader via the K-line.

I think it is a question for desperado.

Maybe it is possible to unlock this on the Ecu.

Yes it is possible and it's been done. The ME7.4.4 ECU uses the same OBDII protocol as all the automotive Bosch Motronic ECU's. The only challenge is to build a custom OBDII adaptor that will fit into the Polaris 4 pin socket. The K-Line output line will flow serial data streams just like any car application does.

    Desperado,

    You're the best

(tu es un puit de science!)

Just try "polarisfiles" method and don't work, if I put 7 and 10 each other, but 7 alone don't work too?
    Someone could explain, need picture?

    Is this good for: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/USB-V...motiveQ5fTools

What are the connector part number(s) to mate with the 4-pin PWC end of the cable?

I have been looking into making/buying a code reader for the MSX150 for some time now.
Found lots of good info on several snowmobile sites.
    I have a few questions.

With polaris DIgital Wrench is the password required to activate the software of is the ECU password protected.
Does anyone know the comm protocol used to communicate with the ecu.

    Adaptor is easily made.
Comm is via the k-line. Not sure if the ecu needs to be woken up.

Desperado do you know the exact comm protocol used. Or know someone I can contact that has done this

Think it is going to turn out to be a cheddar for info deal. Which I don't mind. My thought is to totally eliminate the Digital Wrench from the ECU. We live in a world where Polaris has not manufactured these vessels for some time. The ability to find a dealership with a tech that has even seen what we own is a joke in itself. Short of owning a dealership we are up against a wall. Not sure I speak for everyone but I am never going to leave anything I own in the hands of someone who has never touched one and expect them to get it right. Too many what if's. And that in a nutshell is the motivation to pursue this jailbrake.
