    Remove motor from gp1300

    Can anyone give me some pointers on how this come out?

    Try to use blue painters tape around the opening of the ski so you don't scratch it, and maybe even secure cloths around it. Otherwise everything comes out pretty easily without a fight, except the stinger can be a bitch, but if you you pull the head then it comes right out. Other than that leave the manifold attached, and take the tb's off for the extra clearance. I just hooked a ratcheting come along to the beam in my garage with a chain, then hooked a chain up to each end of the motor and slowly raised it out. You should be able to do it in under 2.5 hours or 3 even for a newb.
