heck, i noticed a difference with the riva intake grate, R&D nozzle, and filling the ride plate holes. gonna install a 4" intake saturday and test it sunday. i'm starting with a lot of the basics that will work well with the bigger upgrades later once i get a few more hours on my ski. this forum is great for information about what works best. check out the 4" intake kit (or build your own) and R&D intake grate. both seem to do better than the riva parts.

i added little pieces that i liked, dont waste your money on parts you wont use and just go for the goodies, air intake, grate, impeller, charger, injectors. You will end up paying a lot less than getting it all at once. Just be careful who you get the parts from and their history. You can also make some parts yourself from the DIY like the oil catch can (home depot)

The air intake is a nice first add on, you finally get to hear the supercharger spooling.

Also check install instructions to make sure you are ready for the upgrade and the tools you will need. Most sellers will have the tools if you ask them for a few extra bucks.

BTW im at stage 1 still with a 3" intake and its good for rough water. I would go 4" but be careful with water ingestion. The 3" is safer in that sense.

I also found that in most cases rather than rebuilding your supercharger for example you can buy an X charger for around the same price or 100-200$ more, add some 42lb injectors and you have the speed you are after.

    Have fun modding
