    80 Mph Rxt

ok it is a long winter so I am thinking what would it take to get a RXT to 80 MPH and not on a trailer behind a truck.

I am at 71 and if I add a ECU and B-kit ( I am still Thinking about these mods) I think that will get me to 76, I just dont see anyway to get there without internal mods and if that is the case what would be involved in those mods.

I know I could just get a RXP but I would love to see how a 80 MPH RXT would do against a 80+ RXP or Yamaha in the rough

EMS kit, B-kit, Head work, race cam, riva stage 2

that's the bare minimum you would need, and u'd be cutting close even with that.. i think u'd be flickering 78-79 average on most days

I don't know if it would help with our big boats but has anyone tried to put a trim system on a GTX or RXT ?

I think it will take a lot of hull work, the two piece drive shaft, and the right prop before it'll happen....I might go to the EMS or Motec this winter but not sure yet.

If you want to lift the bow, adapt a VTS to fit the rxt
