    cylender failer

One of the bolts from my power valve cover came got loose and and came out. I believe that this caused my cylender to loose compresion. Does this sound right or should I be checking something else? Also there was a little bit of oil coming out of the hole where the bolt went for the power valve.

The cover will not affect compression.

How do you know it's lost compression? Have you checked it? If you have replaced the bolt and have low compression, it's time to pull the head off and check things out.
