    Carb identification #s

    OK
I searched and could not find
so I am asking for help

    I have 2 skis both 2001 (1) GP1200R (1) XLT1200
    In part#s
GPR carbs 2001 vs GPR carbs 2002
    67X-14301-01-00 68N-14301-02-00
    67X-14302-01-00 68N-14302-02-00
    67X-14303-01-00 68N-14303-02-00
    67X-14301-03-00
    67X-14302-03-00
    67X-14303-03-00

    XLT carbs 2001
    68N-14301-01-00
    68N-14302-01-00
    68N-14303-01-00

What is the difference in these part #s
and is the complete assy. linkage and all interchangeable

I would like to keep an extra set available for swap out instead of tearing down sending out and waiting for rebuild & return

Thanks for any help and suggestions

They are interchangeable. The part numbers diff probably has something to do with the accelerator pump, which a lot of people disable anyway.

the part numbers are stamped in the bodies according to the model they were ordered for. otherwise these are identical. Like smitty said some models offered different accel pumps but if you swapped one for the other you will be fine.

    Thanks
    Smitty , Bill

I have one set off the GPR will be sending them to Bill as soon as the Till is replenished
Daughter starting College this week so funds are low

I will start looking for complete 2nd set to send also

then I will swap XLT and send those

This fourm has given me the self confidence to start doing a lot of wrenching myself
just don't want to tackle rebuild on carbs as yet

    Thanks Again
