anybody have the bunks mounted on edge?

anyone have their 2x4 bunks mounted on edge? will this support a GPR this way?

the 2x4 laying flat belly after a while. and while I don`t have any issue with teflon glides, the bunks angle cut/beveled still mark up the hull. If the 2x4 were mounted on edge, then it would fit between the chines and support the ski all the way thru...

    any comments are appreciated...

Andy, I have all my trailers set up like this.

Both my 94 Load Rites still have their original bunks on them. They never warped at all.

Get the brackets which hold the bunks this way and are only adjustable for height. No worries of them tilting this way.

I got these, and also from there.

    No problem, Andy

I have a whole box of them sitting next to my desk here for my double project.

They shipped out very fast and customer service was great with other things I had questions on.

If you decide to go there and pick some up, set up a get together at Delilahs afterwards.

    Cool.

Prices are not bad, even with shipping. They should be there in a day or two tops.
