Can't Break The Seal From the RIGHT STUFF

I'm trying to install my 5/8" thru hull fitting and have to remove the seadoo pump adapter. I sealed it up with a bit of the RIGHT STUFF liquid gasket. I have been trying to get this thing off for a few hours and the frustration is mounting. Can the Right Stuff be heated up to help me pull it off or is there anything else I can do to get it off?

I am going to say yes heat would help. However, you also have a huge heatsink in the aluminum SD adapter.

If you can place pulling pressure on the adapter while heating that may help.

Hope you get it buddy. You take another go tomorrow morning and I will get back after my cam gears. I left off with finding top dead center on cylinder 1. May need some crush washers to finish the job though so who knows if I will make it to the river to get a run in.

Got it off with my wife holding the heat gun, my father in law applying pressure on the back of the adapter, and me pulling the adapter. Now I have to find a spot to fit the 5/8" thru hull fitting. Space is tight for sure.
