Simptoms of a bad indexed crank blue fuji engine

Im looking for what simptoms would be of a bad indexed crank.

Could your ski run great with full power but melt a hole in the piston from a bad indexed crank?

Yes it could act like that.

As well as these other possibilities.

If you think your crank is out of phase, I'd suggest doing the proper procedure for checking it with a dial indicator and a degree wheel.

    Each cyl must be 120* apart (+ - 1*)
