    15F Compression Gauge

Kawi charges a small fortune for the compression gauge and extension to get down into the spark plug holes... almost as much as I paid for the ski.

Anybody know of a source for a reasonably priced gauge, with a long 10mm adapter? Everyting on ebay is for 14mm and 18mm plugs.

Since I already have a gauge for a 14mm plug, I'd even prefer a long adapter, to connect a 14mm gauge to the 10mm spark plug hole.

I got mine at Oriley's. It came with all kinds of adapters and the gauge for $35.

I have this one from Northern Tool. Works fine and includes 10/12/14/18 adapters.

Thanks... that looks like a good deal.

Have you used it on a 15F or other ski with deep-set spark plug holes? Any problem trying to get the gauge hooked up to the adapter after tightening down the adapter?

I've used it on a Yamaha VX110 with deep 10mm plug holes, and it worked fine.

I have one of the northern tool guages, just make sure it has the rubber O ring in the kit so it seals properly so you get an accurate reading. Just a little FYI
I have used it on my 15f and it worked perfect, no muss no fuss.
