Unhappy HELP! Oil leaking from where midshaft connects to engine.

Title say it all. Slow oil dripping coming from where midshaft meets the engine. Drips a few drips per minute. Any ideas what it could be?

    Thank you!

It is coming from the seal area of the midshaft / driveshaft. I don't know how to stop it. Put in a new seal and everything.

when you say you replaced seal and everything did you just replace the orings?(number 43) or the seal coupler with bearing (number 42)
as you could of damaged the coupler .....

I am confused... are there bearings inside of the rubber sleeve? I thought the bearings were only pressed into the block?

Bearings are inside the rubber sleeve. This means you have a few areas you could be leaking from, bearings, o-rings, seal to PTO.

When you get it all back together use the proper oetiker clamp clamp! I used a crappy hose clamp and ended up pulling the engine to redo it properly because of a leak.

Thank you for the heads up... Ordered the parts today and the clamps. I am hopeful that this takes care of the issue. I cannot believe that a bearing sits in that rubber sleeve. That is a weird design to me.
