    2004 GTX info

Found a 2004 Sea Doo GTX 4 Tec 155HP with 100hrs, comes with single trailer. The seller bought it from new and is selling it because he is 68 yrs. old and can't ride it anymore....he is asking $3,400 but said he would be willing to drop the price a bit!! What do you guys think??

does it have maintenance records? has it been to the dealer for service? all in all you`d have to be the judge on it`s condition... the 04s have a sturdy hull, they handle very good and being it`s a NA motor it should run fine for another 100 hours, hopefully this ski had some kind of service along the way...

first thing I would do is replace the carbon seal, boot, ring, c clip and clamps... just for piece of mind...
if all is well and you get that ski for even less, go for it... but remember you are the final judge... look over everything, and check to make sure the oil service has been done as well as any updates from BRP...
anything else can be replaced or repaired...

prolly would need at least a wear ring replacement and maybe a prop...

    good luck!
