    Searched, Need Impeller Recomendations.

Hi, I have a 1997 Polaris SLT 700 with these mods:
    Ocean Pro "R" Ride Plate
    Vortex Flame Arrestors
    V-Force 2 Reeds
    Chopper City High Altitude Domes
    Modified R&D intake Grate
    6 Degree Wedge
    Nu-Jet 5.0 Impeller
    Virage 6 Vane SS Stator

A few seasons ago I sucked some rocks & it damaged the aluminum stator which I just replaced with the Virage SS Stator. The Nu-Jet is also damaged & will need repair. I have been very happy with the performance of the Nu-Jet, it has a good hole-shot & good top end.

Should I repair the Nu-Jet or have the OEM tuned?
Also should I return to the stock 4 Deg Wedge or keep the 6 Deg Wedge?

I mostly run on the Colorado River.

    Thanks,
    Paul

If you're river riding and were happy with the performance from before, have the nujet repaired and stick with the 6 wedge. Anything else will be slower. Send it to Impros or Island Racing to have it reworked.

Thanks, I was planning on sending it to Impros on Mon, just looking for a second opinion.

BTW, last river trip, had 3 people ask my buddy & me if our skies were new! LOL

Welcome to Green Hulk ! SoCal ?? Do say more-there are a few very cool Polaris fans in Calli.

The 96 SLT700 should have had a 4 blade impeller.
The 97 SLT700 should have had a 3 blade impeller. a 12/17 with part #5131457. In my opinion, this is a very good impeller for the 6 vane.

If you have the OEM 12/17, I think you should use/repair that.If you have the 4 blade Throw the 4 blade away and have the Nu-jet fixed and let them know you are using a 6 vane stator on the 700.
