New Battery for the Pro and SLX!
Stopped by a garage sale today and seen 2 Bike Master Platium Batterys for sale.. 25.00 each. Hmmm better check this one out.. He said his skis got stolen and all he had left was the batteries he took out. So to help the poor soul out. I bought them both! 45.00 One is brand new this year and the other is last years but works fine.. Finally got my sealed AGM batterys Keith!
They both hold an excellent charge/12.6 and turn the ski like no other.. They retail for 129.00 each! not including tax or shipping. What a find..
19 amp hours and 290 CCA's ..Right dimentions too! ----- 12V16CLB

Ya most of the time, its junky old stuff or baby clothes.lol Every once in a while, theres some good finds, you kinda have to be just lucky and hit the sale as it just starts or else it gets picked over quick.. I got lucky this time. Iv'e been swapping 1 battery between the skis. The guy had 2 -12 horse motors on a cart there he was selling and hooked up the batteries on the spot to show me they worked.. that sealed the deal.
Now if I could only find a battery tender for sale! Good luck on that one.lol

lol. Mick....... No I had to work all day. I'll try tomm.
10.00 for a battery tender? i thought they were plug ins. not solor panels. I have 1 of those.. that doesnt stop like a real tender when fully charged would. I think K-447 has a one for his/her skis.

In the generic sense, battery tenders are chargers that charge the battery, then back off to maintain a float charge voltage, holding the battery at exactly 100% charge without overcharging, regardless of how long the charger is connected.
Battery Tender is a well known brand, so many competitors and cheap imitations try to leverage that name for themselves. Even if they do not provide the same control to charging the battery, and avoiding overcharging.
