ID:	210083Selling my XPL, I hate to sell it, but I need to get a 3 seater, or a 2 seater that I can ride with ppl comfortably, as you know the XPL platforms are flimsy when you add a passenger. There is nothing wrong with the ski, everything is in good condition.
Engine has around 30-35 hours since rebuild.
Fuel lines and carbs were also replaced/rebuilt when rebuilt.
at the front under the hood, the holes have been blocked off, and sealed, the white tray has also extra seal to keep the water out of the engine compartment, while riding, the engine breathes through the service port under the seat, a hole that has a diamater of about 10 inches.
KARAVAN Galv, trailer included, new bearings & tires, recently tagged, ski is tagged til 2012

Ski has NEVER been in salt water, or brackish water, always fresh water only.
    clear titles in hand!

I'l get picture up tomorrow once I get some shots of the new Hydroturf.

I have to say that the ski looks unique (as in great) and the attention to detail is superb, awesome job!

Some ppl are just meant to never own personal watercraft,
I got a call from the guy that bought my ski the day before saying he sunk the ski.
it was not because of some leak or left out plugs, its because they flipped it and could not flipped it back over.
anyways he said water was to the top of the engine. He said "the engine tried to turn over but couldnt."
i asked if the spark plugs were still on and he said "yes" I thought oh f**k he must have bent a rod
So i told him what he needed to do to get it running, I am almost positive a rod was bent, It had a top of the line AGM battery with enough
power to do some damage, I'm sure pretty soon I will be getting a call from them saying the engine blew up.

I'm glad I had witnesses when they called me so I put my phone on speaker to let my brothers hear that they sunk the ski.
I feel bad in a way to hear that happened specially to a ski I took great care of, I have in the back of my mind about that engine having some permanent damage now.

that really sucks! you spend all that time building that ski for someone to come along and just ruin it. Atleast you are nice enough to try to help him out, but just wait for him to come back and say it some how had a defect when he bought it...id like to hear your response to that one!

thats what I know its going to happen, (well depending on the persons) they test drove it and we were at the lake for about an hour before they drove away. I'm sure they will try to blame something back on me. I had a call later like 3-4 hours after he first called me saying that the carburetors butterflies were not opening and he still could not get it to crank. I said " put your hand under them and you feel them move" he goes like "oh ok" he was looking at the choke plates instead

Did he explain why he couldnt flip it back over? I flip my 2002 XPL occasionally and although they stay upside, they roll back over with hardly any effort, no reason for it to be upside down for longer then it takes you to swim back to it.

At first he said it sunk and didnt say much, and I insisted. So he said it flipped over and "his fat ass coulnt get back on"
thats all I cared about, I thought it was something on my part like a lose hose or missing clamp. but it was all user error.
