Again this motor is a 15F. It is not at all maxed out. TJ, Farthing, Mac and several other have this motor pushing over 350hp.
If you look back at all of Kawi watercraft then youll see that they have always produced toned down units and that SeaDoo have always pushed there products to get higher performance. So if history stays true then there will plenty power left.
On my 15F we had to take out the muffler completely, then open water box and bore larger holes in the baffle. All this to complete the free flow system.
Cams on this boat are super simple. What 8 bolts and a gasket. Nothing is in the way. About as much as putting a head on a 2 stroke. ECU is simple too.
Im sure with dropping the muffler and ripping out stock air box youll pick up HP along with lighten boat.
Prop for this is going to be impresive. Finally we will have the HP to turn a larger pitched prop. Ive seen boats pick 3 mph on props alone.
So thinking this unit is maxed out is selling yourself short. Im sure everyone will have unlimited options. Well limited only to the cash you want to burn.
Another impressive thing about this unit is that it only reqiures 87oct. Im still scratching my head over that. Somthing was extremely detuned to pull this off. Not even my car will run off regualer gas. Premium only for my SC car. The article says it will run on 87.
Well Kawi my not hold the fastest ski title but it will be the fastest 3 seater. So when all these SeaDoo guys wanna line em up, remind them its a Cadillac.
I am excited because I already know what works on this motor. It will cost be it can run. May take it back to specail fuel "MS 109" but it will run.

Does anyone know if the boost is turned up how much power the ECU and/or injectors will support? Seems like it could be cranked up a tad easy on 92 octane, but I'm curious how much boost could be raised before stock stuff won't support it. 'Cause there are other ways to prevent deto besides just higher octane.
