Witch one because there is Watercraft World and Watercraft Illustrated?

October issue of Watercraft World has no article about it. So I should be getting the Illustrated one soon.

i don't care if it gets there in a hurry or not... 66 is pathetic.. but we dont know conditions, how used the boat was, could be a beaten to death demo unit with rocs thru the pump and all sorts of stuff

After seeing it at Havasu, I thought it might be a 67mph top speed. I bet it rips from 0 to 67mph though. It looked nice but it was BIG. The front end looked huge. There was alot of real estate in front of the seat.

It very well could be with a full tank and rider just sitting on the seat. Didn't someone post the other day that it ran 66-67 full tank sitting on seat by a Kawi test rider and 68-69 on 1/3 tank sitting on seat? I suspect the speeds will fluctuate because of it's length and gas level over the front. My guess is top speed will be equal to the RXP stock for stock but will out accelerate it, therefore beat it. Kawi's page has a good description of what to expect. I did notice they made no claim to highest top speed ever, unless I missed it.

Speed is a little bit disappointing on top end. I really thought you would see the 250x hit 70-71mph. To be honest we do not know where they got this speed weight on ski, just so many thing to take into consideration.

Dont understand why they went with a Roots type supercharger. They will drop off their punch at high rpm. They are large and impressive looking but not good for high rpm and high speed. Now I know all the Kawi fans will point out the short comings of the Sea-Doo ceramic washers--which is true--but with the steel washers its almost bullet proof--light weight--and really comes on with the higher the rpm--and very easy to work on---and very easy to remove if needed.
