Nice job. How would you rate the job on a PITA scale? Does the pump have an automatic float?

I'm not thrilled about the placement of the outlet...I'll post pics of my installation tomorrow.

It wasn't bad at all. There's a dedicated spot in the hull for the bilge and used the supplied screws to clamp it down. No automatic float. Addicted mention Rule pumps are rated to run dry and that's why OEM uses them. Basic hand tools and a hole saw. Instructions state 1 1/16" but I ended up using a 1" and it worked perfect. I made several copies of the template just incase.

Did you end up with the OEM kit or made one yourself? Standing by for your pics.

Have inserted this pump very easily and it feels good to have if disaster strikes.

Just looking at this install and how it goes into the original fusebox.

Is there room to add extra fuses to run things like A/F meters.

If so does anyone know the type of terminal that could be used that will stay in the fuseblock?

im guessing the original wires have small seals as well.

Here are pics of my install. I wanted to know when water was pumping so I put it's outlet by my left foot. Last pic is of my ON/OFF switch. I didn't know how to go about it so just put it there. In the future I may change it...
