I hear Greg Surdyke won doing 72. Dan had problems and didn't run. It's always too rough at the shootout for descent speed runs. The full results have not been posted on the site yet.

i got 3rd with my gprxp 70
reggie got 4th i think 68-69
my bud kyle got 5th on one of my ultra250s
it was way to rough for anybody to get any kind of speed!

Think Todd came in at second on his SHO from what I heard. Typical washing machine mess out on the water too.
Has anybody seen the boat that Greg ran out there?? Kinda funny! Speakers, subwoofer, nav lights etc.

I was going to enter my ultra with all its mods now that i can squeeze out 74mph with prop change however im getting ecu shutdowns for anything over extended 60mph runs.........really torqued me but im having okeefe work on my boat with some of his magic and ill be sure to enter next year.... we need a Kawi win with that heavy water crap out there

Next year I may run a twin prop and set the boat up specifically for rough water.
Greg's boat was actually slower than mine from what he told me, but he just hooked up better I guess. 2 days before the race I was clipping of 79.7 passes back to back at George Winter Park. Then I get out there and 68 was my first pass. The second run I got up over the handle bars and let it eat.
I'm still kinda bummed. Wish I would have went with a full tank of gas and my ride plate shimmed down just a hair. That probably would have been enough for 74 or 75.
There was one point in the second run that I was hooked up pretty good for about 3 seconds straight and my GPS said 77.9.
