Question What is the difference between 420881100 and 420881101?

I want to order supercharger kit for my 2008 rxp-x. It seems that the right part number is 420881100. However, the guy from the service told me that it would be better to have 420881101. Please advice!

The 420881101 is the newest kit and has updated coated metal washers.

i have been using the coated washers that come in the new 101 kit for almost 2 yrs and have found them to be excellent. even with the big boost chargers.
the ones that come in the kit are a little rough though. i stone the high spots off them before installing them.

Im hoping they are better than the gold one I just lost!! haha since they are in my sc now. Im gonna ride today and then see what the slip looks like. It was 15.5 and I will have 2 hours on them at least today. They were used in my SC before then removed.

Eric, I just had my charger apart today. My gold washers look like new (over 30hrs of hard riding on them). Slip was down to 15lbs, set it back to 17. I have a new shaft kit that I am going to have drilled and pinned. I think that was your problem. Any type of oil starvation and the washers are not going to survive. Good Luck, Patrick

Yea, that was what Duke said and he did the same to my shaft so I hope to NEVER have any more issues haha.

I spent alot of money on tools etc lately. 3 Torque wrenches, all new sockets, sc tools, vise you name it.
