    Aftermarket reeds

Im just wondering who makes aftermarket reeds. I purchased a set of carbon fiber reeds off ebay for 50 bucks and Im wondering who they may have been made by. They are a 2 stage reed with a white reed with holes in it and a carbon fiber reed on top of it. I figured for 50 bucks its worth a try. They were used but are in good condition. Just trying to figure out what I have here. What kind of performance can I expect from these?

Someone will know, but a photo might help them recognize them.

Boyesen is the only 2 stage reed I know of, but I don't think they use carbon fiber

Boyesen Pro series reeds are a carbon fiber over a fiberglass reed. I cant find any other makers of reeds like this searching the internet. As soon as I can get some gaskets I will install them and see how they workClick image for larger version.

    Ok.

I had the Boyesen RAD valves, and they were all fiberglass.

    Give them a shot.
