Is this impeller bad? Replacement suggestion? 2010 rxt-x

My neighbor used my ski and sucked in rocks. Now it cavitates... sooo, is the impeller shot, the wear ring, or is the impeller slipping? I have an appointment at the dealer set up for the 10 hour and probably gonna change the wear ring. If I DO need a new prop, any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Pianoman

The dealer will charge close to 500 bucks to replace a wear ring!

The cavitation is probably a combination of both being a little ate up. I would definately change the wear ring and probably the prop, would want to see closer.
Also be aware the dealer will probably bend you over on the cost to replace them. Oh dont let your freinds ride your ski anymore.

I fantasize about fixing that stuff myself...usually do, but am at the cabin and not home in the garage... I wonder if there is a better prop than stock... Thanks for the replies guys.

Stock is 14/24 per shop manual. Put a ss Solas 15/22r in it and get the wear ring from online store. Do it yourself it's easy!

Basic mechanical skills, prop tool, hacksaw blade or die grinder, freezer, block of wood and hammer, length of rope to hang your neighbor by his ankles from a tree for the time it takes you to fix it! The labour the dealer will charge for the wear ring will pay for a new prop
