when putting triples on a stock motor there is the difference in port size between the adapters and the port.is it really worth it to match those ports only and what gains would be had???or as long as the rest of the ports are stock just leave it alone???whats does the stock matrix have done to it as far as this difference??

That's odd...Mine came fairly port matched...(different pipes I know...)

From what I've seen most of the Matrix guys have taken the time match the intake and exhaust sides to the cylinders as they were not real greatly matched.
Difference?? Probably only by dyno but all the little things equal something right?

I agree with Al. It's one of those things that you'll probably never feel by the "seat of the pants", but everything adds up. I personally try to always match everything up pretty closely.

The exhaust port on a msx 140 cylinder is a bigger diameter on the outlet compared to the pro 1200 cylinder. Therefore the 140 cylinder matches up with the factory triple pipe adapter with no grinding.
