Lately there has been a big demand for SS grates for the GPR on the classified section maybe we can convince Jerry to get another batch going, While his at it maybe we can get some made for the SHO also.

I think the original run was for 150, wasn't it? I'm thinking you would have to get an order that big again.
I'm glad I've got a brand new one in a box at home.

I have my spare vampire grate that has never seen daylight, and is untouched by human hands still in the box.

I hated the ss grate. it made the ski useless for anything but speed runs.

What's the deal with guys running 90+ with a 1200 grate? Are there any issues? I'd really like to take off my ss800 grate, because with it the holeshot is nonexistant.

From my reading on here seems the 800 throws the water more directly into the impeller and will cause burn if you don't ease it out of the hole that is the reason for your bad holeshot. The 1200 throws the water more up into the pump tunnel the directs toward the impeller. So how about the best of both worlds and get a SS 1200 grate???
