New Problem... lol i just cant take this anymore.

new motor everything seems to be going fine the first few weeks... except for today.

Now it seems it starts good runs good open throttle picks up to speed then slows down dramatically as if it runs off of 2 cylinders. cant seem to figure out what is goin on.

it will pick up get to speed then just slow down any ideas on what can cause this?

I looked through your old posts and could not find it, where did you get your new motor from? When this happens have you tried taking off the seat and feeling if all 3 cylinders are warm?

Ya all 3 cylinders are warm, i got it from Kevin here on the fourms

it was running wonderful until yesterday. still runs and starts strong but its just so weird when you get up to speed just get a dramatic loss of power.

one issue that i have is my Drive shaft bearing is leaking and i do not have a shroud over the coupler so when im riding pretty much water will splash everywhere. (cant seem to find those parts)

is it possible that the water is killing one of the cylinders getting into the plug wire or electircal box?

dont know if this can do it. My SPeed pick up hose was pulled out of place so i had to take out the MFD and rethread that hose. Got it on there but the SPeed still doesnt seem to work only goes up to around 25mph i can tell im going way faster then that.,

Water spraying around will get sucked into the air intake and affect the cylinder power.

You can replace the seals in the through-hull bearing easily. Details can be found in my signature links, under jet pump.

Another coupler cover can be found new or used, from multiple sources. Call John Zigler for good used parts.

The MFD speedometer hose must have no leaks, cracks, or kinks. If the hose is old, replace it.

    I agree with K

It tracks the issue you are having.

Runs well at idle (driveshaft is barely turning)

Runs crappy as the driveshaft starts throwing water around

you need a new driveshaft bearing/seal Ebay under $50.00 or call Randy or Zig. not sure if they are all the same
