10 Reasons why sit downs are better than stand-ups
10) You can sit or stand on a runabout.
9) A runabout won't sink on you when you jump a wave and land sideways
You don't buy your watercraft at a garage sale for $50
7) You can actually go touring on a sitdown.
6) You can sit and relax in the middle of the lake.
5) You can tow a skier or tuber
4) You actually have water presence and are seen by boats
3) Chicks dig runabouts not stand ups
2) You have real power under your seat
And the number 1 reason why "couches" are better is:
1) You can take a chick (or two) for a ride.
If anyone has anything else feel free to add

I'm guessing the person who wrote this probably attempted riding a stand up once in there life and sucked soo bad at it, that all the chicks made fun of him. Thanks for making me laugh tonight.
I dont realy get the garage sale joke though.........is it supposed to mean that stand ups are substantially cheaper then most sit downs??

I am assuming it is all in good fun...any attention to the industry is good, regardless of what you ride. I will admit I make fun of my friend who is trying to get a stand up because I am too much of a fatass to ride them (6'2" 250). Kinda like when people ask me what sport I play, golf. Not to generalize, but I bet 95% of the people that put down stand-ups cannot ride one. I love watching them do their crazy tricks on the lake. Funny how I ride around the whole lake looking for the right wave to get one foot of air to feel cool, and they get ten off my wake.

not that I want to get involved here, but standups are the unicycles of the pwc world. Sickest stunts on the utube video "all my crazy friends", so sick in fact that I linked it to my website..since they are reallllly crazy stunts. My favorite is the 50mph mangrove zigzag.

I remember when I tried riding a stand up for the first time, it was horrible. It was learning to ride bicycle again. Its also a decent work out too. The first couple times after I bought my superjet I was sore as shit. But I will admit I have alot more fun on my Superjet then on my GPR.
