    R&D racing steering nozzel

Is there anyone running a R&D racing steering nozzel? does it offer much gain over OE part? also is it this one that has interchangable rings?

no interchangeable rings. it is a cast aluminum part that has relatively thin walls, so modifying it for rings would require a collar over the nozzle outlet. also, the threads strip out pretty easily, so be careful. i saw a 1 mph top speed increase, based on the speedo, so that that for what it is worth. the steering is much better and the holeshot and mid-range feel better to me. it is quite a bit larger in diameter, but also longer than the stock nozzle (at least that is the case on my wakepro 215). i think it was worth it, but i am thinking of modifying my stock nozzle for the interchangeable rings to see what i like best once i do more mods.

the pump nozzle is the one you use rings on..the stering nozzle swings with the handle bars...the pump nozzle doesnt..

the r&d steering nozzle is 15mm longer..+1 snoman

It should also help with porposing as well due to being 15mm longer. Any concur with this? I was going to purchase one as I am having porposing issues with my riva open loop ride plate.

Nope,Cant say it helped in the porposing,Not that ive noticed on my ski anyway...The only difference i can tell with this nozzle is the steering is more resposive and the ski turns tighter....As far as top speed and holeshot???No gains that ive seen on either of my skis..

Thanks for the info. Hopefully some more can chime in with providing more Info to if the nozzle has helped them with porposing.

Bump for possibly some updates from others who use or have tried the R&D steering nozzle.
