Today we are taking to old girl for a rip. The marina on the lake is celebrating 50 years. It starts with a meet and greet for only wood boats then a slow lake parade with 10-15 oldies followed by a BBQ then dancing. Should be a fun day.

A few shots of the other boats today. My fav is the 1928 "Launch" clearly a beauty. And the 1938 Hackercraft both owned by Woodards. Pops won best boat name(Moby Duck)

    I think I own a "hacker-craft" or two. LOL

Beautiful boats ! As a weird coincidence,we saw some old wooden looking boat today,my friend guessed it was a look-alike or repro of some sort. I wish I could have seen the real thing.

My friend Jim Murphy "Spud" is restoring a 1948 Chris-Craft right now, his grandfather bought it new. These are beautiful works of art indeed.
