What would cause bogging under abrupt throttle?
As the title states when I give swift abrupt full throttle my 720 sounds like it's about to die. I had a Yamaha do the same thing before. If I apply steady throttle slowly it's fine. Any suggestions?

A whole world of things can affect Throttle responce.
Carb(s) Pop-Off Pressure comes to mind first.
LS adjustor Screw mal-adjusted (should be 1 1/4~ 1 1/2 turns out from shut)
Carb. internal filter partially clogged
Fuel System contamination
Bad Recifier/Regulator Module

Carb probably needs cleaning/rebuilding

OK thanks guys. I forgot to add that I recently replaced the grey tempo lines and cleaned the internal carb screens (which were not even that bad) the ski ran 10x better and I regained both my low end and top speed. I rode it 2 times with the new fuel lines. Everything was perfect and then out of the blue it would bog but only under abrupt full throttle otherwise it's fine. At first I thought I maybe ingested some water but when I pulled pulled the ski out of the water and took the plugs off and cranked it no water came out. So that's a good thing.
Not that I like "gunning it" out of the hole as I like to baby my engines but I'm the type who likes his stuff running 100% perfect.

turn you low speed screws out 1/8 of a turn. ride it and see if it gets better or worse. if worse turn them in 1/4 of a turn and ride it again. if it got worse again you probably have a fuel restriction. i.e. dirty filter. if it got better during this you just have to dail it in.
