    Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Anyone from the midwest area ever been to Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan? I wen't yesterday with my family and my younger sisters friends family who have a 4 seat sand rail with an LS1 engine in it, it was the most fun I have had in a long time If you have never been there here is a nice video of a guy in a sand rail driving around the dunes . If you are in the midwest area and have quads and trucks and stuff and have never been to the dunes, you should really make a trip up here, it was my first time yesterday and I already can't wait to go back again.

well sure if you go out there, but in the midwest Silver Lake is the place to be for dunes. Its such a great atmosphere, just driving your truck/buggy right down to Lake Michigan, go cool off and then hit the dunes again. I would love to own a sand rail some day, it was seriously some of the most fun I have ever had. I have been looking around and the prices are all over the board for buggies, from like $5k into the 6 figures. Beerdart, how fast was that rand rail with the 1835 engine? I see a lot being sold with the VW engines
