    12v low warning

I have a 2004 Sea Doo GTI LE RFI. I have bought a new battery, checked fuses and now installed new voltage regulator/rectifier. What could it be now?

need to check the stator, if good then check continuity of all the charge system wiring

I have a 97 and 98 GTX that have always given the "low 12 warning" , new battery or not. This site helped my verify I didn't have a problem. Check voltage before you start then check while running. If the voltage while running is anything over 13.5v I don't think you have a problem. I think the threshold for low 12v warning is set a little high. Just my two cents. good luck. Search this site for some other tips.

Someone recently told me that the 98 gsxl throws that light when you start it up for a couple seconds to let you know that the charging system is working. Like when you start your car and the lights come on then shutoff on the dash. Not sure if he is right but I have been through the electrical system and there is no problem at all

check stator, if good pull the mag cover and look for metal shavings.

the red and black wires to the rectifier should have battery voltage. and the yellow wires should be 1 ohm between each of them
