no low end, but great top end 99XPL

i just rejetted my 99 xpl and now it runs like shit. i never changed any ajustments only the jets. i put 85 lows, 167.5 mains, and 2.3 valve and seat.i also put prok air filters on it. it idles great and has great top end (64.2) but my low end take off is gone. it boggs when u mash the gas and barely goes. then it jumps up and goes. im lost. what might be the problem? and what should i do?

Rick, did it ever run good after the changes? Sounds like the accelerator pump is all gunked up.

water valve regulator. dumping too much water. if its not bogging and wont rev up its the water regulator or the RAVE valves

What size jets were in it stock? Sounds rich on bottom but what I would do is turn both low speed screws out 1/2 turn and see if it gets worse or better. If it gets worse then go back the other way and lean it out 1 turn (1/2 turn in from where you started) and see what happens. If it gets better then adjust until it's the best it can be.
Does it have the grey tempo fuel lines in it?

Re install the 2.0 N/Seat (stock) as you dont need 2.3 with just an air filter change. I would of gone 87.5s lows open 1.5 turns and 165 highs closed with 2.0 N/S with black spring to obtain a pop off 19-21psi. I think your N/Seat is way too big and or its leaking.
A 2.0 N/S flows more than enough fuel for that application and it gives crisp throttle response where the 2.3 can choke them too much.
Only time we install 2.3N/S is twin pipes or Coffman's exhaust is required.
