    4 tec cam swap question

can you remove the cam without removing the timing gear from the chain?? If you must remove the cam gear will the chain come off the crank chain gear or must you have some tension on it ?? anyone??

You must remove the cam gear and its a good idea to use a zip tie to hold the chain up, it doesn't have to be tight, just be able to get it back up, its pretty easy.

Don't forget to get new rocker shaft bolts too , as they are stretch bolts
