    loss of RPM to 7700rpm

    Guys,
I seem to have low rpm's on my 06 rxp. I have just finished the following mods.
    New X Charger
    #42 injectors
    4" les cooke intake
    Riva free flow exhaust
    R & D Grate
New wear ring and solas 15/20 prop

Before mods my rpm's were about 8050 (stock). Now I am sitting at 7750. I'm know there are many people running this set up. I was thinking it may be the size of my prop, but have been told this is the prop I should be running.
    Any input is much appreciated.

I think you could have got away with a 14/19 with some trailing edge added (probably quite a bit). But since you have the 15/20, I would be taking quite a bit out of the rear edge, maybe 2mm or more starting at least an inch and bit up the blade from the rear edge. That should get your rpm back up and you should at least run 75. Just my thoughts.

Thanks Mate! I'm pretty handy mechanical wise but have no idea when it comes to props! I think its time to learn.

+1 on the prop. I have a similar set up and needed to tweak my 14/19 to stay off the limiter. Also, check the slip on the charger - even a new one may be off.
