    What usually causes bogging until choke pulled? I would think not getting enough gas.

    2000 xpl with fresh carb rebuilds runs and starts fine till more than 1/4 throttle.... lows are 1.5 out and hi are 0 out... Flame arrestors and jetted at 100 and 165... Thanks for any input... planning new fuel lines next to see if that helps...

    Many ppl in the forum are running this setup, (I run it also.)
    no problems at all, starts everytime, without the need of choke.

    951 with PRO-K Flame Arrestors
    Stock Head
    USING ACCEL PUMP
    MAIN=167.5
    PILOT=85
    N&S=2.0
    Pop-Off=18-23
    HS=1/2 MAG and 3/4 PTO
    LS=1

    Mine starts with no choke also... just when it boggs you can give 1/4 choke and it goes as it is suppose to.... I have to ride holding it like that... Carb screens are perfect, but have not had the selector valve off yet..

    Took the fuel lines off and selector and it is not that, they were clear as could be... What's next? Little more info on the ski.. I purchased this ski from a guy that knew very little about them, he couldnt figure it out and I thought it would be a easy fix...Something like fuel lines.. He lost a good bit on it, giving me all the paper work and such.... .. It has a fresh 951 pro built. Never ran right after install. The carbs were jetted at time of install... I did the tps first after taking the carbs apart to make sure they were clear.. They were.. I sometimes can pull the choke a little, then let off choke, and it run like hell till i let off the gas the I have to do it again when it boggs... What should I do next? Thanks guys...

    Why would the choke help if it were either of those... I'll check but don't think they are the cause...

    Its creating a vacuum,pulling fuel right from the tank!

    you can also put your hand over the end of carbs and get same result.

    Try unscrewing gas cap and starting =D

    Unscrew the bowl on the water separator/filter. Check to see that the oring is installed correctly and not pinched.
