    Please help gp1200r bogging

I have a '00 GP1200R that keeps bogging down on me. I drained the gas thinking it was bad gas from over the winter, changed the plugs, and now thinking it could be something with the carbs. Sometimes it will take off than start choking down to almost a stand still while throttle open. Does anyone have any ideas what I could try next.
    Thanks in advance!

I had the same issue. My carbs needed to be rebuilt. As soon as I got them done. Life was good again!

Does it hurt the ski if I ride it the way it is, for the time being, will it cause any more damage? I only have a few weeks left and than I can ship out the carbs for a rebuilt

I'm over in Wickliffe! Where do you launch it? I just had the exact same problem.

I have a variety of things going on though. The stock cat shot a piece into the water box, my carbs were rebuilt and I found that the fuel pick up had a warped door.

Do you have a cat or a dplate? Bill is the guru. I also know a local guy if you aren't comfortable pulling your carbs.
