would like to here some good info on shredmaster ride plate:

I have sifted thru the search feature and read a few threads about the shredmaster plate...
I have read that a few of you guys, Philip, Hydro, RacecarDave etc have used or are waiting to use this plate. Can I please hear some feedback on the shredmaster for the GP1300R ski.
benefits?, has the fit gotten any better?, did it do what you expected? where did you get it from?
I understand this is a rough water plate. I would like to hear from those that run this plate how the ski handles, exactly what conditions it is best for. I`m guessing it`s safe to say that it will slow the ski down in anything other than rough water...

please post contributory information so this can be viewed by more people down the road... Thanks..PR...

The fit has not changed, you still need to do some fine adjustment to get it right. You will also need the smaller plate, where the pump outlet screen is attached. There is clearance issues with the 2" inch pump extension. Handling is much improved, carving is better, but speed is sacrificed.

You can't use the stock bolts to mount it, only Allen head bolts. There is really no tolerance in the bolt holes either to move it.

Its a day and night difference riding in rough water especially if you have a set of extended tabs.

Like bill said though, you do sacrafice speed. I went from 72 down to 69 but for the area I live in its a much more enjoyable ride.

pm me if you want some pics

What unique design does it have lets say to the standard R&D or Riva , it looks like a longer plate especially along skegs, for what I can see...

The shred plate has a "whale tail" design to it. The bottom isn't flat like a normal plate. Its curved.

The plate us also longer then a normal plate

it looks like it was designed for mechanical tabs?... there is a big notch alongside the speedo, what would that be for?
