    Converting to Premix

    Hey there,

I am trying to understand this.. I know there are caps and plates online to convert to premix, but are they really needed?

Can I just cap the line that goes to the oil tank and call it a day?

Do I really need to remove the oil injector pump and cap it?

    Thanks!

If you really wanna ditch the injection system, which is accually reliable.

You need to take off the pump, take off the oil pump spline from the mag, install oil pump again, cap the oil lines off, and then run a 40:1 mix.

    Easy enough

What about on the GTI / 720?

rotary valve oil must be intact, so you have to keep oil in the tank and keep some oil, block line going to the pump, then same process!
