My rxt-x also has the balls in the drainplugs.,your fine while your riding your ski.
Once you put it on the anchor, the hull will fill up very quikly, and sink your ski.

+1, while moving your OK, but try it while docked.

I never ran those versi plugs.
I'm just saying if you leave OEM plug UN screwed, you can take on water when not moving.

Anyone with a relatively high IQ should know to put their drain plugs in when out on the water...

If you could figure out how to use the forums "search" feature... you could eliminate 90% of the threads you start

We just installed them on 2 sleds and so far they are staying drier inside.

    Exactly what I was thinking.

I have a 2003 GTX with later model drain plugs with a ball inside.

Instead of getting a versiplug, won't these work exactly the same?

While moving the ball will move to the back of the ski to let water out. While stopped, the water pressure will push the ball forward to the front of the ski to block to flow of water entering the ski.

In theory this seems correct, can someone with late model drain plugs actually confirm that this will work?
