Fuel Pressure / Injector question for OEM ECU w/ X-Charger 50's with 48psi regulator?

I just installed an X-charger & external IC on my 05 RXP. I had what I thought were a set of 42# injectors as I have read that is all I need to change fuel wise. But it was idling real bad, so I checked out the injectors a little closer, they are actually 50# injectors I want to ride the ski this weekend, but don't have an AFR meter. So until I can get a set of 42# injectors I was curious if I could do this instead.

What if I used a FPR from a 155hp 4tec that I have that is 48psi and run the 50#'s instead of the 42#'s with the 215hp 58psi FPR. Would that work? Has anyone ever tried this?

+1....If it idles, however badly, I would keep the 50's in for the weekend. I would rather be a tad rich than too lean.

+1 I had to run a RRFPR and 42s with the X charger and external IC. I needed 70-72psi of fuel pressure at 8100 to have safe AFR.

I would say the 50s and stock 58psi reg will make you safe on top but you will be rich all over the rest.

You need 42s + RRFPR for that setup.

If you do run it this weekend with the 50s I would consider changing your oil after as you stand a very good cahance of gasing up the oil some.
