    Exhaust Temp Alarm

    Can some 1 tell me what tempreture will set the alarm off in the water box please???

    Not sure on temp, but if it's on the straight pipe setup
    Strap the sensor to the coolant bottle hose.

    Im not going to use it on the straight pipe, I will just tie wrap it to sumin in there, I dont know if it needs to see some heat or nnot as the ECU my think its failed if it fails to read any tempreture.

    We will see.

    it is my understanding that is to keep the oem rubber hoses from melting..if the exhaust gets to hot...

    I had my exhaust temp sensor strapped to the outside of the hose (got tired of it going off, mods stage 2-ish in signature) for one full season, no problems, it does NOT have to see heat.
