Anybody now of stores like maybe Home Depot or lowes that would carry stainless or galvanized staples or any other fasterners they have used in place. I just picked up my custom seat cover and I wanna install it on a 08 seat i have do to its narrower. I was told to install this over my 08 OEM cover, This sound right? I was thinking as long a foam was perfict just remove OEM and install new cover, Please some help????

give Doug a shout, I think he knows where to get the staples. you want to go over the OEM cover with your custom cover. this way it won`t absorb water.

Frank, you should be able to find stainless staples at any local hardware store.I bought mine from Homedepot last year when I did my inlaws hydrotruf cover. Make sure you have a good strong staple gun for the job. I have a heavy dudy electric one. Pnumatic would be best if you can get ahold of one. Make sure you post some pics when you're finished. Good Luck.

Try this link. DON'T use galvanised, they won't last more than a few weeks if you ride in salt. Cheers, Dave.

I ordered mine off of ebay. Frank, if you already have the gun and the staples I have will fit I can send you a bunch. They come in packs of 10,000. Let me know the size your gun uses. I'd offer to lend you my gun but it's a big POS and it's been doing more ruining covers recently than stapling them.
Follow Hydrotoys steps, they are spot on. Let the cover sit in the sun for an hour or two before you begin and do the work IN the sun. Otherwise a good heat gun will be your best friend.
Stretch the cover til your hands hurt as your putting it on and install it over the existing cover....seriously!
