    RXP 215 SC 4-tec Engine

I have a short block from a 2005 RXP 215 SC engine. It only has 34 hours on it and is in great condition. I split the cases to take pictures. Comes with everything pictured plus the head bolts. Asking $2000 plus shipping. Let me know if interested? Thanks

new head bolts or what? a lot of those bolts you took off to show the inside were stretch bolts and are good for nothing now....

Not true at all. Yes some are stretch bolts, but they are good for more then one use. They have only been used one time from the factory so they should be for another use no problem. You can check the Seadoo manual for the maximum stretch that is allowed.

I cleaned the engine and wiped it down with some light oil before I took the pictures. I went ahead and purchased a new engine from PPG so I no longer need this one.

That's what I was thinking...Can an engine be this clean even with that low of hours? It looks like those are fresh pistons in there.

You guys are relentless...A guy takes the time to tear it down and clean it up for pics and you are still criticizing. Cant win for losing.

Didn't mean it to come out in the way of me criticizing, just asking if anyone has opened a 4 tec up with such low hours and after cleaning it up and all have been able to get it this clean. If so I'd give him props for having a pristine engine.

I just cleaned the engine up and split the cases so anyone interested could see as much as possible. It does not have new pistons, I would have stated that if it did. Its just a good low hour engine. Let me know if interested, thanks again

Case bolts are not stretch bolts and can be reused.
