Problems with 02 rx and rxdi help!

Put a remaned engine in my 02 rxdi but somewhere around 5500 rpms and again at top speed all of a sudden the rpms drop off by at least 500 stay that way for a second and then kick back up all while holding the throttle steady. Thanks in advance for any help this has been a nightmare.

Also have a 02 rx this one ran over 7000 rpms last season this season it gets maybe 6100 and 50 mph. Put fresh gas and new plugs in got up to about 6800 rpms for the first two times used now it is right back down to 6000.

Check your rave valves in both skis. The DI may have a leaky diaphram or hose from the compressor causing the valve to open/close due to loss of pressure. The other ski may have dirty valves causing them to stick and not opererate correctly.

Sorry I am new with jet skis and DI models of two stroke engines in general. I will check the valves on the rx but the di are new with only about four tanks of gas through them. So the hoses to check would be the air hoses for the compressed air? I did notice on e of those was a bit chewed up. Looks like the mechanic who put the new engine in just pried the old clamps off and chewed them up a bit.
