Flushing a salt water motor
Do ALL jet skis have the awful tendency to get water in the crankcase if the flush hose is not turned off before the engine?
I bought a Yamaha 1100 that the guy swore was flushed and winterized properly over a year ago.
Apparantly, he didn't turn off the hose quickly enough, there was about 1" of water in the crankcase and the crank bearings were rusty.
